We ordered 126 individual meals for a parent field trip, and the restaurant did an excellent job. Everything was prepared on time, the presentation was beautiful, and the food was fresh and delicious. The entire process was smooth and professional. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine or catering for a large group. Our parents were very happy with the meal and service!

Delicious comfort Mediterranean food! Great halal spot. We ordered the gyro wrap and the chicken & rice platter. The food was fresh and tasty! We wished for a little more flavor in the chicken, but other than that the food was great alhamdulillah

Makan Restaurant serves the best Jordanian Mansaf I have ever tasted in my life—and that’s saying something after 33 years of enjoying authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. From the very first bite, I was transported back home. The lamb was incredibly tender, the jameed was rich and perfectly balanced, and every detail of the dish reflected authenticity and excellence. What makes Makan truly special is that it feels like more than just a restaurant. The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed like family. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and filled with genuine hospitality that is becoming increasingly rare to find these days. The service deserves special recognition. Despite the restaurant being busy, the food arrived quickly, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure every guest felt valued and comfortable throughout the meal. I’ve been in Texas for 15 years and have rarely had authentic Mediterranean food—until now. This family-owned restaurant Makan is truly Above & Beyond. The food tastes exactly like the Middle East, and I especially loved the Jordanian Mansaf—absolutely delicious! The service was amazing; they welcomed me warmly, made me laugh, and were just very nice people. I definitely recommend everyone try it. Amazing food, amazing experience
